Atos appoints Michel-Alain Proch as Senior Executive Vice President to oversee the expansion of its foothold in North America
NEW YORK, March 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Michel-Alain Proch has been appointed Senior Executive Vice President. He joins the two other Senior Executive Vice Presidents in charge of the global group management coordination and led by Thierry Breton, Chairman and CEO. In his new role, he will oversee the planned acquisition and integration of Xerox ITO, which is expected to be closed during Q2 2015. After closing the company will have 100,000 employees in 72 countries and annual revenue of circa € 11 billion on a pro-forma basis.
Elie Girard, who joined Atos in April 2014 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer, will replace Michel-Alain as CFO.
Michel-Alain Proch
Michel-Alain Proch joined Atos Origin in 2006 as Group Senior Vice-President responsible for Internal Audit and Risk Management and was promoted in June 2007 to Chief Financial Officer. He is a graduate of l'Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse and holds a degree of Etudes Supérieures Comptables et Financières. After six years spent at Deloitte & Touche in Paris and London, Michel-Alain Proch held different management positions at Hermès, first in Internal Audit and Controlling, then prior to joining Atos Origin as Chief Financial Officer for North and South America, based in New York.
Elie Girard
Elie Girard is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Paris and Harvard University. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, before joining the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industry and working for the Office of Thierry Breton, the Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industry in France. He joined Orange in 2007 and was appointed in 2010, Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Strategy & Development of the Orange Group, member of the Executive committee. Elie joined Atos in March 2014 as Group Deputy CFO and member of the Executive Committee.
