Atlantic Trust's Linda Beerman Named One of the 50 Most Influential Women in U.S. Private Wealth
ATLANTA, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Atlantic Trust, the U.S. private wealth management division of CIBC (NYSE: CM) (TSX: CM), is pleased to announced that Chief Fiduciary Officer and Head of Wealth Strategies Linda S. Beerman has been named one of the "50 Most Influential Women in Private Wealth" in the United States by Private Asset Management (PAM) magazine.
"We are enormously proud to have Linda as a partner and colleague," said Jack S. Markwalter, chairman and CEO of Atlantic Trust. "This industry recognition is well-deserved for the many noteworthy contributions that she has made throughout her career, especially in building Atlantic Trust's wealth strategies and family legacy planning programs and her valuable work on our G2G Impact and Women's CIRCLE initiatives."
PAM is a leading industry publication covering the wealth management and family office industry. The 50 women selected for this honor were chosen based on a combination of peer recommendations; the level of responsibility they hold in their current and previous roles; and any other significant impacts they have had on the industry, be it through public speaking, industry-recognized awards, or actively encouraging equality in the workplace.
"I am very grateful for this most unexpected honor," Beerman said. "It is a wonderful reflection on Atlantic Trust and our entire wealth strategies team."
Beerman has been with Atlantic Trust since 2001. As head of the firm's Wealth Strategies Group, she leads client estate and wealth planning for the firm and serves as a senior wealth strategist for a number of multigenerational client families. She is a frequent keynote speaker at client and intermediary events throughout the U.S. and has been featured in major publications including Bloomberg, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal.
