Atkore International Inc. Acquires Steel Components, Inc.
HARVEY, Ill., Nov. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Atkore International Inc. ("Atkore") today announced that it has acquired the assets of Steel Components, Inc. (SCI), a leading designer and manufacturer of steel and malleable iron electrical fittings for steel, flexible and liquidtight conduit, as well as armored cable (www.steelcomponentsinc.net). SCI will operate as a standalone business, named "Atkore Steel Components, Inc." as part of this transaction.
