BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrea Thomas-Reynolds has been named president of Athlos Academies following a national search.

Dr. Thomas-Reynolds previously served as chief network growth officer at Athlos Academies. Prior to joining Athlos Academies, Dr. Thomas-Reynolds spent nearly four years as general manager of the Gulf Coast region for Pearson North America. Before that, she served as CEO of the Algiers Charter Schools Association, a charter management organization in New Orleans that was the largest network of charters in the Gulf Coast during her employment. In addition, she has served as regional general manager of EdisonLearning and was a director of the Say Yes to Education Program in Philadelphia.
Dr. Thomas-Reynolds earned a Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University, a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University of New Orleans, a Master of Science in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organization Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
She and her husband Todd are the parents of one daughter and one son.
