ATF Offers $5,000 Reward for Information On Gun Store Burglary
62 Firearms Stolen From Licensed Firearms Dealer
ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Scott L. Heagney, Resident Agent in Charge, of the Rochester Field Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has announced a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the burglary and theft of 62 firearms from Tom's Guns and Ammo, a federally licensed firearms dealer in Sodus, New York.
On Nov. 24, person(s) unknown burglarized Tom's Guns and Ammo, 5403 Steel Road, Sodus, New York, and stole 62 firearms from the business.
This burglary and firearms theft is being investigated by ATF and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
