Atalasoft Releases Free Image Viewing and Processing Toolkit for .NET Developers - DotImage Photo
EASTHAMPTON, Mass., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Atalasoft, a trusted provider of .NET imaging components for software developers, today announced that its DotImage Photo imaging SDK is now available for free. The free DotImage Photo SDK includes rights to deploy the software to desktop or server-based applications with no SDK or deployment fees. This is the first time a company has offered a commercial imaging SDK for free to the general public.
"Over 2000 happy customers use our PDF and imaging SDKs," said William Bither, Founder and CEO of Atalasoft. "For developers building basic client image processing and viewing applications in .NET, DotImage Photo offers a powerful imaging library and viewer. I'm excited to hear about all the new applications that will be built with this free version of DotImage."
Additional functionality is available as add-ons, including PDF viewing, barcode reading, and TWAIN scanning. This will reduce the cost for companies with these specific needs. Runtime royalty-free deployment of EXIF metadata support, color management, thumbnail viewer controls, and ASP.NET web-viewing is available with the DotImage Photo Pro SDK. Multipage PDF & TIFF authoring and editing, document processing and cleanup, OCR, forms processing, annotations, ASP.NET web-viewing, and Silverlight components are available with the DotImage Document Imaging SDK and add-ons.
