At Home Unveils Remodeled Oklahoma City Location

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At Home®, the home décor superstore, announces the completion of renovations to the Oklahoma City, Okla. location on Thursday, September 1. The 141,000 square-foot store, located at 701 S. MacArthur, Oklahoma City, Okla. is one of three stores in Oklahoma for the big-box specialty retailer of home décor products.

To celebrate, the Oklahoma City location will host a ribbon-cutting Friday, September 9, at 9 a.m. with the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber. At Home will offer mystery gift cards to customers who visit the store Saturday, September 10, beginning at 9 a.m. As the weather starts to cool off, At Home helps customers get their homes ready for fall with a variety of home décor, furniture, and more. 

Over the summer, the Oklahoma City store has been redesigned to enhance the self-help shopping experience, making it easier for customers to find exactly what they need to make themselves feel at home. Changes to the store include updated cash wraps, a bathroom remodel, fresh paint on the outside of the building, a new roof and more. The newly redecorated store now provides a welcoming atmosphere with easy-to-read signage that takes the customer on a journey through the store, effortlessly guiding them to the various departments and down the aisles for specific items they are seeking.

At Home allows customers to express their personal style with any budget by choosing from an expansive selection of more than 50,000 items—including seasonal and holiday décor, patio furniture, home furnishings, wall art and decorative accents, rugs and housewares. This location provides 25 jobs to Oklahoma City and surrounding communities. Including the Oklahoma City location, At Home currently operates 116 stores across 29 states.
