At Home Raises More Than $116,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
PLANO, Texas, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At Home, the home décor superstore, today announced a $116,232 donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. Throughout the month of May, At Home customers were able to donate $1, $5 or $10 at check-out registers at more than 100 At Home locations nationwide.
Founded in 1949 and headquartered in Rye Brook, N.Y., LLS has chapters throughout the United States and Canada. This is the second year of At Home partnering with the LLS at a national level.
