At Home Continues DFW Expansion With New Farmers Branch Location

PLANO, Texas, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- At Home®, the home décor superstore, announced the company will expand its reach in the North Texas market with a new store opening in Farmers Branch this May.

The 137,000 square foot store will be 10 miles north of downtown Dallas on Midway Road off I-635. Additionally, the brand's current Plano storefront, located at Spring Creek Parkway and K Avenue, will be moving a new site off of Central Expressway near Parker Road in June.

With the Farmers Branch and Plano relocation opening this year, combined with the Fort Worth store that opened in October 2015, At Home will be investing more than $17 million into the local DFW community.

The new Farmers Branch store will be located at 13307 Midway Road off I-635 and the current Plano store at 1717 E. Spring Creek Parkway will relocate to 2704 E. Central Expressway.
At Home will open at least 20 new stores in 2016.

Following each store opening, the Farmers Branch and Plano locations will host grand opening events including ribbon-cuttings and in-store giveaways for customers. The Farmers Branch location will be the eighth At Home location in Dallas-Fort Worth, and both Farmers Branch and Plano stores will employ approximately 40 full- and part-time team members.
