PLANO, Texas, Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- At Home, the home decor superstore, today announced it will host a grand opening event for its Springfield, Missouri store on Friday, Oct. 3. Located at 3700 S. Campbell Ave in Springfield, the more than 108,000 square-foot store marks the first store in the Springfield-area for the big-box specialty retailer of home decor products.

This new location brings 20 jobs to Springfield and the surrounding communities. Grand opening events kick off Friday, Oct. 3 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. The celebration continues throughout the weekend with radio remotes and gift card drawings taking place Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5.

At Home allows customers to express their personal style by choosing from an expansive selection of more than 50,000 items—including patio furniture, home furnishings, wall decor and decorative accents, rugs and housewares. The company currently operates two stores in Missouri in Bridgeton and Fenton. Including the Springfield location, At Home currently operates 78 stores across 21 states.
