At Home Announces Finalists for First Ever 'Holiday Deco-ver' Contest

PLANO, Texas, Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --This holiday season At Home^TM, the home decor superstore, hosted the company's first ever 'Holiday Deco-ver' competition, asking customers to submit their beloved 'tacky' Christmas decor as a chance to win a holiday home makeover valued at $5,000.

As a play off the ever-popular 'Tacky Christmas Sweater,' At Home garnered hundreds of entries during a two-week span and narrowed the competition down five finalists based on a number of criteria, including a photo showcasing why the entrant deserved a 'Holiday Deco-ver' for their home. Voting for the grand prize winner is now open.

Voting for these five finalists is open to anyone who chooses to vote across social media and will run from Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 through Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. The winner will be chosen by the greatest amount of votes, and the At Home team will install the winner's holiday home makeover prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. All four runner-ups will each be awarded a $500 gift card to At Home, where they can choose the perfect decorations to express their individual style.
