SAN DIEGO, May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The CCF (CDMA Certification Forum), a nonprofit organization that provides the most efficient time and cost to market certification process available to the CDMA industry today is exhibiting at CTIA Wireless 2012. The CCF will take advantage of this opportunity to present its new corporate image and provide attendees all the information they need about new initiatives in product certification within the wireless industry.
During CTIA, the CCF will invite wireless professionals and journalists to come to its booth (4605) to learn more about the current initiatives the CCF is working on, including mobile M2M and chipset certification, C2K/LTE testing, C-SIM and more.
"The CCF has dramatically changed the face of CDMA certification over the last 5 years by uniting the industry around one common certification process that keeps evolving," says Bruce Jolly, General Manager of the CCF. "Today the CCF also works on test plans for upcoming technologies such as Ix-Advanced, CDMA Rev B and C2K/LTE, providing industry players of all sizes with the best possible certification process to expand to new standards quickly and easily.
We decided this year that it was time for us also to revamp our corporate image so it reflects the evolution of our organization over the last years and our desire to continue serving and supporting the wireless industry through its future technological developments," says Jolly.
"It is the continued support of CDMA industry leaders that makes the CCF the success it is today," says Thomas Erickson, President and CEO of the CCF.
The CCF works closely with North American operators such as Verizon, Sprint, and US Cellular, and with Asian carriers in China, Indonesia and India, as well as all major vendors in the CDMA mobile device and test arena.
"With such strong commitment of industry players from around the globe, the CCF is confident in the success of its industry initiatives, yielding further reductions in time and cost to market for everyone," says Thomas Erickson.
