SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Astreya, a premier IT managed services solutions provider, today announces the appointment of Sunitha Krishnaswamy as Vice President and Corporate Controller effective immediately.
Sunitha is a finance leader with 15 years of experience across technology, manufacturing and Big 4 accounting firms and has built and led large accounting teams across North America, Europe, Central America and Asia. In her role, she will have responsibility for Astreya's accounting functions including GAAP compliance, tax, and related regulatory requirements. She will lead the accounting team globally and participate in defining best practices for billing and global payroll solutions. In addition, she will develop Astreya's financial enterprise architecture strategy.
Prior to Astreya, Sunitha worked at Inbenta, Fianstra, Caterpillar, EY, and KPMG. Her areas of expertise include accounting and audit, controllership, acquisition integration, carve-out / divestiture, consolidation, revenue accounting, equity accounting, cash flow analysis, internal controls, SOX, process improvements / transformation, ERP implementation / automation, project management, and international operations. She has both CPA and CA certifications.
