Association of Management Consulting Firms Publishes Industry's Most Comprehensive Thought Leadership Best Practices Report
NEW YORK, Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Management Consulting Firms, the premier international association of firms engaged in the practice of management consulting (AMCF.org), today released their 2015 Thought Leadership Best Practices Report.
In April and May 2015 AMCF, Bloom Group, Rattleback and Research Now conducted an in-depth study on an increasingly important topic for management consulting and IT services firms — thought leadership marketing— a topic that Bloom Group and AMCF have been researching since 2006.
The study is based on extensive surveying of buyers of consulting services and explores the important factors driving research for buyers and sellers of consulting services in the management consulting arena. Highlights from the report include:
- How buyers of consulting services and influencers on the purchase decision use thought leadership content from consulting firms to decide which firms to use.
- How consulting firms themselves set their thought leadership strategies, develop content, and then take that content to market.
- How consulting firms design, use and manage the thought leadership content on their websites to attract client interest and generate leads for business.
"Our survey responses from almost 700 consulting clients revealed that 70% of buyers consider thought leadership content to be a significant factor when selecting a consulting firm," said Sally Caputo President and Chief Operating Officer, AMCF. "However, 94% of clients express that reading poor-quality content from a consulting firm lowers their opinion of that firm. So while Thought Leadership is expected and important, it must be high-quality or reputations are at risk..."
The report will be available for download in the Thought Leadership/Research section of AMCF.org with other valuable thought leadership white papers.
