Association for Passive Optical LAN Adds New Members

NEW YORK, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association for Passive Optical LAN is pleased to welcome many new members, including Qypsys, Vision Technologies, Communications Supply Corporation (CSC), The Siemon Company and Fiber Optic Association.

Corning, IBM, Leidos, TE Connectivity, Tellabs, Zhone and 3M initially formed the Association earlier in 2013.  The association's mission is advocating for the education and global adoption of passive optical networks in the local area network (LAN) industry. Today the Association is positioned well to add manufacturers, distributors, integrators, and consulting companies to join in the cause.
