Associated Estates to Provide Support to Food Banks in Eight States
CLEVELAND, Nov. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Associated Estates Realty Corporation (NYSE, NASDAQ: AEC) will hold a Holiday Food Drive from Friday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. The nonperishable food items collected will help restock local food banks across the company's geographic footprint in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland/Washington D.C., Michigan, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia.

Many of Associated Estates' properties have participated in food drives in past years, but this is first year the drive is expanded company-wide. The holiday food drive will encompass 54 collection sites, which includes the company's 53 apartment communities, as well as its corporate headquarters.
