CONCORD, Calif., March 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AssetMark, Inc. announces that three financial advisors who use its platform have been selected as recipients of the company's 2014 Community Inspiration Award. In recognition for their work on behalf of non-profit organizations in their local communities, AssetMark will donate $20,000 to each recipient's favored charity.
This year's honorees and associated organizations are:
- Advisor: Carolyn Cash, Founder of Cash Financial Group, Inc.
Organization: ALIVE, which provides counseling, emergency sanctuary and other services to victims of domestic violence in and around St. Louis. - Advisor: Steve Ciepiela, President and Co-Founder of Charles Stephen & Co.
Organization: Roadrunner Food Bank, which serves those in need within the Albuquerque community. - Advisor: David Cole, President of Retirement Income Resources, LLC
Organization: Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut, which has helped people become independent and self-sufficient through job training and other support services since 1951.
"We are very inspired by our advisors' commitment to giving back to their local communities, in part because it mirrors their dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of their wealth management clients," said Charles Goldman, President and CEO of AssetMark. "By acknowledging our advisors' contributions and supporting the organizations to which they devote themselves, AssetMark can help them make an even bigger impact while motivating others to follow their example."
Advisors within AssetMark's Gold Premier Consultant ranks can be nominated for the Community Inspiration Award by their peers and co-workers. A panel of AssetMark representatives select three finalists from using three important criteria—displaying a strong commitment to a charitable organization through the contribution of time and effort, taking actions that have a positive impact on others in their communities, and motivating people to reach their goals.
AssetMark congratulates all the nominees for this year's Community Inspiration Award:
