Asiana Airlines signs on to UTC Aerospace Systems C.A.R.E. program
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- UTC Aerospace Systems has signed a 10-year Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) program agreement to support evacuation systems on Asiana Airlines' new fleet of Airbus A380 aircraft. UTC Aerospace Systems is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX)
As part of the C.A.R.E. program, UTC Aerospace Systems will provide evacuation slide asset management and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) support services for multiple evacuation system components on Asiana's six A380 aircraft.

UTC Aerospace Systems also currently provides repair services for air management systems and electric power on Asiana's Airbus and Boeing aircraft, engine accessories for the airline's PW4000 engines and the landing gear on its B777, B747 and B767 aircraft.
