This award will scale ASI's technology across Army combat formations
BOSTON, Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ASI, the operational AI company that is building control systems for the critical industries and defense, has been awarded a five-year, $99,000,000 Enterprise Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Army to scale its technology across the Army's modernized command and control efforts.
The Army selected ASI following a competitive solicitation, building on ASI's prototyping work with the Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) effort. The IDIQ contract vehicle enables units across the service to deploy ASI's AI-powered forecasting software to support evolving warfighting command and control needs.
The initial task order expands ASI's capabilities for fires deconfliction at the Corps level. For this deployment, ASI's software consolidates various data sources into a single predictive solution, accelerating workflows that previously took minutes into seconds. Coordination is now done exponentially faster, providing commanders with true decision advantage.
"America's warfighters are operating in environments where the volume and complexity of information are growing exponentially, but more data alone does not lead to better decisions," said Mark Lepczyk, President of ASI Federal. "We've been building alongside the Army to turn that complexity into operational advantage, using live, forward-looking simulation to help Soldiers understand what is happening now, anticipate what comes next, and act faster. This contract allows us to take what we've proven with the Army and scale that capability across the force."
The Army award comes months after the Federal Aviation Administration selected ASI for a 12-year, $875,000,000 contract to modernize the nation's air traffic management, and the Department of War Innovation Unit's selection of ASI for its Open Mission Engine (OMEN) initiative.
Together, these awards signify ASI's continued growth across critical industries like the Department of War, Aviation, and Energy demonstrating the value of commercially stress- tested, dual-use technologies applied to America's operational needs.
