Ashfield Capital Partners Appoints David G. Dillon Senior Investment Analyst
Senior Technology Analyst to enhance the firm's research capabilities
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ashfield Capital Partners, a San Francisco based investment management firm specializing in domestic and global growth equity strategies and an affiliate of Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM), today announced it has named David G. Dillon as Senior Investment Analyst, Global Information Technology Sector.
Mr. Dillon comes to Ashfield Capital as the firm continues to strengthen its research team, particularly in the technology sector. He arrives with over 15 years of experience conducting deep fundamental analysis on public companies, with a special focus on technology. The move is part of Ashfield Capital's commitment to expanding its actively managed, growth-focused investment capabilities for its institutional, SMA, mutual fund and individual investor clients.

Prior to joining Ashfield, Mr. Dillon spent five years as a co-Portfolio Manager at HighMark Capital Management, where he was responsible for the firm's technology and telecommunications investments in the Large Cap Growth and Fundamental Equity strategies. Previously, he was a senior equity analyst at Wells Capital Management, responsible for the technology sector, and was a co-Portfolio Manager of the firm's Technology and Telecom Fund.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Dillon was a research analyst covering semiconductors and semiconductor capital equipment at JPMorgan H&Q. He began his investment career in 1994 at GT Global Funds, which eventually merged with AIM Funds.
Mr. Dillon holds a CFA Charter and is an active member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco. He holds a B.A. in business and economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
