AshBritt CEO Brittany Perkins Provides Key Insights on Emergency Disaster Recovery

HOUSTON, March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, AshBritt CEO Brittany Perkins Castillo joined the TxStrong Disaster Recovery panel at the 2019 TxSWANA Conference. Moderated by John Buri of Tetra Tech, the panel discussed lessons learned and best practices in emergency response and recovery following Hurricane Harvey's impact.  Mr. Buri was joined by Stephen Costello from the City of Houston; John Sullivan of DRC; and AshBritt CEO Brittany Perkins Castillo. Topics touched on included logistics, debris clean-up, and overall emergency response.

The TxStrong panel focused on the resource strain faced by the city of Houston and Harris County. Panelists explained the historic strain on debris clean-up and recovery resources throughout the country given the unprecedented back to back landfall of category 4 hurricanes in Texas and Florida within weeks of each other.
