Ascent Aerospace Appoints Les Holford as Quality Director
SANTA ANA, Calif., April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Aerospace announced today the appointment of Les Holford as Quality Director to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) strategy and implementation across the entire Ascent Aerospace Company. In this new role, Les will coordinate closely with the various company's in-house Quality Managers and external agencies to establish strong business processes and Quality certifications consistent with customer expectations and requirements.
Les has had an impressive career in aerospace operations and quality systems. He began as a grit blast operator and gained a great appreciation for manufacturing processes and teamwork. Later on, he earned his B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and spent 15 years at Pratt & Whitney overseeing both factory operations and quality systems. Subsequently, Les served as Quality Director for both Chromalloy and Nordam, and also earned an MBA degree. Most recently Les was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Segers Aero, an MRO facility specializing in engine propeller overhauls.
