Customers, Media, Suppliers and Employees Participate In Events Over 3 Days
FOWLERVILLE, Mich., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Asahi Kasei Plastics North America Inc., Fowlerville, MI is celebrating 10 years of service providing customized resin solutions worldwide to multiple markets. Having grown over 300% in the last 10 years, the Michigan based company is now one of the largest Asahi Kasei facilities outside of Japan and is expanding sales globally, in Canada, Mexico, China, India and Europe. They are in the top 5% of compounding companies in the United States and one of the largest glass filled PP (polypropylene) compounders in the world. The celebration continued the next morning, Friday, July 16th, at Asahi Kasei's Fowlerville location with breakfast, executive speeches, and a presentation from Charles Chesbrough, Senior Economist, from IHS International "Automotive Economics: Where Do We Go From Here?," a plant tour, and a Special Award for its commitment to Michigan from the MEDC (Michigan Economic Development Corporation) and a letter of Congratulations from Governor Jennifer Granholm was presented by Ken Masumoto from the MEDC:

The following day, Saturday July 17th, over 300 Asahi Kasei employees, family members and friends celebrated all day with a picnic BBQ and games at the Fowlerville location. "We are 10 years young.
