RESTON, Va., Feb. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Society of Appraisers (ASA) announces the promotions for the following headquarter staff, effective immediately.
- Todd Paradis
Todd's new role will be that of Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer, where he will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be the executive responsible for assisting the CEO with developing, communicating, executing and sustaining ASA strategies and marketing initiatives. ASA members today face continuing change in market and regulatory demands, as well as ever increasing global opportunities. Organizational strategy must be aligned to assist current members and provide for growth in new members and member services, both domestically and globally. Todd will assure such strategy meets this vision.
- John Russell
John's new role will be that of Senior Director–Government Relations and Business Development, where he will continue to report to the Chief Executive Officer and his role directing all of ASA's government relations activities and programs, but will also now be responsible for seeking out opportunities to grow ASA's influence, membership and revenue base in the U.S. and globally. His involvement in ASA's current merger and other valuation professional organizations with worldwide interests will greatly assist his ability to bring exciting opportunities to ASA.
- Angelica Sullivan
Angelica's new role will be that of Director—Member Services, where she will continue to report to the Chief Operations Officer and her role of member recruitment, but will also now be responsible for ASA's membership and customer services operations. Sabriya Tony, Manager of Membership and Customer Services, will report to Angelica. Recruiting new members and providing unparalleled services to all members is a major driver for growth in ASA. There is an old saying that "a happy member will be a member for life!" ASA believes this re-alignment will enhance our ability to assure both new and existing happy members.
- Joy Brown
Joy's new role will be that of Director–Credentialing Services, where she will continue to report to the Chief Operations Officer, and her role directing all of ASA's credentialing activities and programs. Maintaining the status of Accredited Senior Appraiser as THE designation sought by outstanding professional appraisers and valuers worldwide is vital. ASA believes this newly renamed department, formerly known as Accreditation/Reaccreditation, has a more universal meaning among users of valuation services provided by professional appraisers and valuers.
