As Demand Increases, Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida Provides Much Needed Civil Legal Aid
CLSMF Helps Low-income People Protect Their Livelihoods, Their Health, and Their Families
ORLANDO, Fla., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida Inc. (CLSMF) promotes equal access to justice by providing civil legal aid to help low-income people protect their livelihoods, their health, and their families. CLSMF attorneys and advocates can help solve legal issues related to consumer protection, debt and creditors, family law, children and education, domestic violence, elder abuse and neglect, health and income-related benefits, housing, and veterans' benefits.
The Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida workforce is currently working remotely to protect the public and our employees from the spread of the COVID-19 virus. During this time, we will continue to do our best to provide you with the same level of services under normal business operations. While our offices are closed to the public our legal HELPline will remain open and will continue to be our centralized point of intake, providing eligible clients with immediate brief legal services and/or referrals.

Monday and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
For over 50 years, CLSMF has provided critical civil legal help to thousands of Central Florida residents, however studies show that 50-80% of low-income American's legal needs still go unmet. With a service area encompassing 12 counties, it is a challenge every day to serve the one million people in the area who qualify for assistance.
