Arup Promotes 25 Senior Professionals
Arup Americas promotes 7 to associate principal; 18 to the position of associate
NEW YORK, May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Arup, a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm with a reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable designs, announced today it has promoted seven people to the position of associate principal. The individuals are located in in Arup's New York and California offices. In addition, the firm has appointed 18 new associates.

Alban Bassuet is an acoustic consultant in our New York office. Since joining the firm in 2000, Alban has pioneered the Arup SoundLab, which has now been replicated in more than 10 offices worldwide. His project experience ranges from performing arts centers to airports and train stations, museums, galleries, education buildings, and sports, recording and broadcasting facilities.
Matt Jackson, PE, SE, is a structural engineer in Arup's New York office. Matt leads the structural design of many technically challenging and innovative projects, with a particular focus on geometrically complex projects and high-rise design. His portfolio spans a wide-range of project types, among them museums, sports facilities, airports, and footbridges.
Peter Matusewitch, PE, is a structural engineer with Arup and the practice leader for the New York office Bridges and Civil Structures group. Since joining Arup in 2004, he has demonstrated his expertise in structural design, design management, rehabilitation, planning studies, cost estimates, and risk analysis of bridges and civil structures in conventional, design-build and P3 procurement formats, leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Jason Krolicki, PE, is a structural engineer in our San Francisco office. With 15 years of experience, Jason's portfolio spans a wide range of projects, from giant observation wheels, to mixed-use high-rise structures, university buildings, hospitals, and office buildings. Jason is focused on the development and application of new Performance Based Design standards and research for the design of tall structures.
Joshua Cushner leads the Acoustics, Theatre & Audiovisual consulting practice in Arup's San Francisco office. Josh has focused his career on increasing the value of his technical input through integrated design thinking, applied research and harnessing advanced simulation tools such as the Arup SoundLab®. Working with leading architects and end-user clients to deliver more than 250 completed projects, he has established a track record of innovation and practical expertise in acoustic consulting and venue design.
Sara Paul, CPSM, LEED AP, guides Arup's marketing, communications, client engagement, and corporate communications activities across the Americas Region, with a focus on building client relationships, increasing firm visibility, and strategic positioning. Based in San Francisco, Sara is a past president for the local chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and is active in several other client-facing organizations in the Bay Area.
Sarah Rosen is the human resources leader for Arup in San Francisco, managing the HR teams and delivery of programs for the San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles and Houston offices. Sarah is responsible for employee relations, talent management, and resourcing in her respective locations and serves as HR advisor to Arup's Regional Practice Leadership.
