ArtsConnection and Proskauer Partner to Bring Art and Business Together, Support New York Schools

NEW YORK, March 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- [Thirty-five] students in New York City public middle and high schools will have the unique opportunity to display their art in the new office of global law firm Proskauer at Eleven Times Square as part of a partnership with ArtsConnection, New York City's most comprehensive arts-in-education organization. As part of the exhibition, entitled Goals and Dreams, students—and their teachers and families—will have the opportunity to attend a reception on March 14th with lawyers of the firm at the new Proskauer office.

ArtsConnection's Student Art Program reaches out to public school art teachers across the city to showcase the work of their talented students. The exhibition and reception champion the visual arts in public schools by displaying student artwork in corporate spaces. Through the program, students interact with business professionals and are celebrated as the next generation of artists.
