Artivest Continues Momentum with Strategic Hires
Stacie Yates and Justin Rooney Join Product Structuring and Client Services Teams
Builds on Recent Momentum in New Partnerships, Expansion, and Fintech Award
NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Artivest, a tech-driven investment platform that expands access to leading alternative investments, today announced that it hired Stacie Yates as Director of Business Implementation and Justin Rooney as Senior Manager of Client Services.
Stacie Yates brings over sixteen years of alternative investment experience in structuring alternative investment vehicles, legal, compliance and regulatory issues. She joins from UBS Wealth Management, where she was most recently an Executive Director of Product Development and Management. In that role, she worked with several of the world's largest hedge fund and private equity managers to bring their offerings onto the firm's Alternative Investments platform.
Justin Rooney joins Artivest from Third Avenue Management, where he served as Associate Director of Sales and was responsible for proactive sales and relationship management across the firm's mutual funds and separate accounts offering through the Midwest. Prior to Third Avenue, Justin worked within the Alternative Investments Group at Merrill Lynch, where he led a team of specialists responsible for providing sales and operational support across fifteen global territories supported by Merrill Lynch's Alternative Investments Service Desk.
"We're thrilled to welcome Stacie and Justin to our team as they bring a proven track record of success in delivering exceptional client experiences," said James Waldinger, Founder and CEO of Artivest. "Bringing this talent on board not only builds on the momentum we've recently experienced across the business, but is a testament to the shift in the financial industry as technology continues to play an increasing role in investment management."
These hires follow a series of growth initiatives across the firm. Earlier this year, Artivest expanded the reach of alternative investments to advisors and their qualified high-net-worth investors through exclusive relationships with BlackRock and Nuveen Investments. Additionally, Artivest has expanded its team with significant senior hires in the past year, including Jon Feigelson as General Counsel and CCO, Michael Kosoff as Senior Director of Investments, Clayton Cheek as Director of Business Development, and Binoy Talati as Senior Manager on the Solutions team. In September 2016, Artivest was awarded a 2016 Industry Award in the "Disruptor – Technology" category by WealthManagement.com.
"This is an exciting time for fintech, as the financial industry continues to embrace the powerful role that technology can play in the growth of their business. We look forward to continuing to partner with financial firms to enable sales, to streamline operations, and to help shape the future of the industry," added Waldinger.
