Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Announces New Credit Facility
Replaces Expiring Facility
ITASCA, Ill., July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced that it entered into a $500 million unsecured credit facility, expiring on July 14, 2014, with a group of twelve financial institutions led by Bank of Montreal, Bank of America, N.A., Citibank N.A., Barclays Bank PLC, and JP Morgan Chase Bank N.A. Gallagher may also request an additional $100 million of funding capacity within the facility. Funds may be drawn for stock repurchases, future acquisitions or general corporate purposes. This agreement replaces a $450 million unsecured revolving credit facility that was due to expire on October 4, 2010. Currently, there are no borrowings outstanding under either the expiring or new credit facilities.
