Art Van Furniture will invite Chicagoland families to turn in tattered or torn Old Glories on Wednesday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and receive new 3-by-5-foot American flags to display proudly and patriotically. The American-built company will ensure the old flags are respectfully disposed of in accordance with the U.S. Flag Code.   

The Midwest's number one furniture and mattress retailer hopes to take in and distribute thousands of Stars and Stripes to commemorate Flag Day 2017, a time when citizens throughout the country will host flag raising ceremonies and fly the American flag at their homes.
