WARREN, Mich., March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Melting ice jams on the Maumee River have caused widespread flooding in the Toledo area, damaging the contents of many local homes including furniture and mattresses. Starting Tuesday, March 24, 2015, Art Van Furniture is offering help through its Art Van Furniture and Mattress Flood Damage Relief Program for Toledo.
Art Van Furniture is extending its Employee Family Purchase program pricing to flood victims. Guests will need to bring photos of their damaged furniture or an insurance check to Art Van Furniture's Toledo (Holland) store, located at 1301 East Mall Drive, or to the Art Van PureSleep location at 4600 Talmadge Road in Toledo. Their purchase will need to be approved by a store manager or sales manager and is good for a one time purchase.
"While the arrival of spring is welcome, the destruction of personal property due to the recent flooding in the Toledo area has caused families to lose valuable home furnishings and mattress," said Art Van Elslander, founder and chairman of Art Van Furniture. "We wanted to be first in line to help alleviate any of the financial hardship our guests are experiencing and give back to the community."
The Art Van Furniture and Mattress Flood Damage Relief Program for Toledo expires in six months. For additional information, visit artvan.com.
