MANCHESTER, England, December 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Arsenal are 11/4 with Betfred to take revenge on Champions League favourites Barcelona by knocking their conquerors of last season out of the competition when they meet again in the last 16.
The Gunners were beaten 6-3 on aggregate in the 2009-10 quarter-finals, Lionel Messi scoring all four goals in a 4-1 second-leg victory for the Spanish club.
As a result of the draw, Arsene Wenger's side have been pushed out to 20/1 from 14s to lift the trophy for the first time at Wembley on May 28.
Barcelona remain 9/4 favourites following today's draw, with arch-rivals Real Madrid clipped to 10/3 from 7/2 after being paired with Lyon.
Chelsea head the English contingent at 5/1 (from 11/2) as they prepare for a clash with FC Copenhagen, while Manchester United are 7/1 from 8s ahead of a date with Marseille. Tottenham can still be backed at 18/1 after being drawn against Serie A leaders AC Milan.
Betfred spokesman Jon Wilde said: "Surely only those with an affinity for Arsenal didn't want to see the Gunners have a rematch against Barcelona, in England at least. It's undoubtedly the tie of the round but given the way Arsenal played at times in the group stage, you have to fear for their prospects."
