ARRIS Announces CJ HelloVision of Korea as new C4® CMTS Customer
MSO to Launch DOCSIS 3.0 Services to nearly 3 Million Homes
SUWANEE, Ga., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS (Nasdaq: ARRS) today announced that Korean cable services provider CJ HelloVision has purchased ARRIS C4 CMTS' to deploy DOCSIS® 3.0 High Speed Data and Voice over IP (VoIP) service to its customers. CJ HelloVision is a part of the CJ group of companies, and serves nearly three million cable homes.
"As part of our effort to become the leading provider of high speed Internet service in Korea, we are planning to launch 200Mbp/s broadband service to our residential customers," said CJ HelloVision CTO Mr. Sanyong Lee.
