Arosa+LivHOME Acquires Partners in Senior Care
Bolstering Its Presence in Lake County, Illinois
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Less than three months after Bain Capital Double Impact's merger of Arosa and LivHOME, the newly formed group, Arosa+LivHOME, has acquired Partners in Senior Care to add to its presence in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
Partners in Senior Care has built a national reputation as a leader in developing and retaining outstanding caregivers. Founded in 2003 in Grayslake, IL, Partners in Senior Care has served thousands of clients and families throughout Lake and Cook Counties.
"We are excited to join the Arosa+LivHOME family," said Trisha Menoni of Partners in Senior Care. "The merger will help us continue to preserve our clients' independence and attract and retain the best caregivers."
Ari Medoff, CEO of Arosa+LivHOME, welcomes the opportunity to incorporate Partners in Senior Care into the company. "Partners in Senior Care is a national-renowned leader in caregiver retention and appreciation. This focus aligns perfectly with our mission to attract, train, retain, and treasure the best care professionals," stated Medoff.
Better Together
Few understand the strength, fortitude, and perseverance it takes to be one of the over 44 million (often overlooked) caregivers across the nation more than Trisha Menoni and her daughter Angie Landmesser, co-founders of Partners in Senior Care. In fact, a sign on the wall of their office reminds their caregivers and staff to 'Believe, Nurture, and Giggle'.
"We truly love what we do, and that passion is threaded throughout every aspect of the care we provide," expressed Landmesser. The merger was a natural evolution for the companies given the shared mission. "We'll have more opportunities to positively impact families in the Chicago area."
Retention of Caregivers is a Source of Pride
The combined company will rely heavily on the retention of high-quality caregivers. "We are extremely selective and accept only the cream of the crop, looking at not only skill, training, and experience, but at the intangible qualities that cannot be taught," explains Landmesser.
Home care companies are faced with the stark reality that there are fewer caregivers to serve older adults who wish to remain at home for as long as possible. With the booming senior population requiring more in-home assistance, the importance of attracting and retaining quality caregivers is greater than ever before.
