During their Bosch-sponsored trip to Chicago, the young storm chasers had camera in hand, full of anticipation and excitement to take part in the spoof involving their idol, Timmer. Meeting Timmer was something they had only dreamed of, until Bosch proposed a plan to bring the boys to Chicago and switch Timmer's storm chasing vehicle, the Dominator, with the boys' "Mini-Dom" for the "Switcheroo" video.
"Storm Chasers for life" was the phrase chanted by the boys and Timmer after they met for the first time. Timmer spent time talking about the Dominator, telling stories, and providing the boys with tips about chasing storms. With excitement, Michael tells a story about a time when he and his dad passed by Timmer chasing the same storm. "You guys are the next up-and-coming chase team, right?" Timmer asked.
The original recording began back home in Arkansas and kept rolling throughout the boys' trip to Chicago. In the behind-the-scenes footage you can see the thrill and joy the boys experienced as their dreams came true in Chicago. The boys are back at home now working on the construction of "Mini-Dom II." When creating the "Mini-Dom" video series the boys never anticipated the attention they'd receive. Michael mentions, "When we put the videos on YouTube, we didn't expect all of this. We would have been happy with just a Bosch hat."
