Arizona McDonald's® To Host Teacher Appreciation Day May 7, Teachers Show School ID/Pay Stub, Receive Free Extra Value Meal
Portion of McCafe® Sales on May 7 To Be Donated to Expect More Arizona, Tucson Values Teachers
PHOENIX, May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Arizona McDonald's restaurants are hosting Teacher Appreciation Day on May 7th, honoring teachers statewide. Teachers that show their school identification or pay stub from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at their local McDonald's restaurant will receive a FREE Extra Value Meal.
Customers can show their appreciation for teachers at McDonald's that day as well. Buy a McCafe product at McDonald's on May 7 and a portion of the sales will be donated to Expect More Arizona and Tucson Values Teachers, non-profit organizations dedicated to improving education and supporting teachers.
The funds will be distributed to support Expect More Arizona's Train the Trainer and family engagement workshops throughout Arizona and Tucson Values Teachers annual classroom supply drive, "Tucson Supplies Teachers."
