Arizona Community Invited to Open Discussion with Legislators at Special Event Sponsored by Arizona Technology Council and Coalition for a Connected West
Arizona state legislators gather April 16 to discuss policies and identify opportunities to grow Arizona's technology sector in an open roundtable dialogue followed by a mixer
PHOENIX, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Providing attendees with an excellent opportunity to learn about current technology policy legislative goals and speak directly with state legislators, the Arizona Technology Council (AZTC) and Coalition for a Connected West (CCW) are jointly hosting the 2014 Legislative Day on Wednesday, April 16th.
"This annual event is designed to be collaborative, providing our members and the community at large the opportunity to have their voices heard as it relates to public policy in the technology sector," said Steven G. Zylstra, president & CEO of the Arizona Technology Council. "There are a host of important issues facing our state with outcomes that will shape Arizona's economic future and we urge everyone to get involved."

The 2014 Legislative Day consists of two events: An Economic Development Roundtable, and a Legislative Mixer. The roundtable is an open discussion with state legislators about how to improve Arizona's technology sector and maximize global competitiveness across the state. Legislators are interested in hearing from all Arizona citizens including technology industry stakeholders about the real-world effects of legislation.
