Argosy University, Dallas Counseling Program Receives Continued Grant Of Accreditation From CACREP
DALLAS, Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, has extended accreditation to the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program Argosy University, Dallas, a non-profit institution, through March 31, 2024.
CACREP accreditation is recognition that the program's quality meets the standards set by the counseling profession and is among the highest commendations that an academic program can receive in the counseling field.
"Earning a continued grant of programmatic accreditation with CACREP for our master's program for the maximum amount of time allowable is a testament to the quality and strength of the counseling program at Argosy University, Dallas," said Campus President Dr. Brian McAulay.

As a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), CACREP grants accredited status to graduate-level programs in the professional counseling field.
