Argosy University Announces Launch of Fast-Track MBA
New program designed for working professionals to obtain degree in as little as 12 months
CHICAGO, Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Argosy University is pleased to introduce The College of Business's Master of Business Administration (MBA) Fast-Track scheduling option. The Fast-Track option is just one more way Argosy University works to serve the needs of its current and prospective students. It is designed to be completed in 12 months and focuses on developing action-oriented managers and leaders, providing them with practical tools that help deliver critical solutions to their organizations.
The MBA Fast-Track is part of the University's traditional MBA program with eight core courses (24 credit hours) and four required concentration courses (12 credit hours). Coursework is designed to build strategic literacy of the individuals most responsible for implementing strategy and assessing its impact. "The curriculum combines contemporary concepts, theories and proven practice through applied learning," says Dr. Cindy Larson, Dean of the College of Business. "Coursework and faculty teach managers to make better decisions that align operations with the goals, values, and strategy of the company. Managers are provided tools to develop integrated perspectives to problem-solving: strategic, financial and economic, organizational culture and values, technology and operations."
Students who pursue the Fast-Track option take two courses per term, enabling the busy professional to complete the degree program in 12 months. The Argosy University Fast-Track MBA culminates in an applied Capstone Project which provides students the opportunity to integrate the core business competencies with their concentration specialty. The program is designed to build upon the talents of students, independent of their undergraduate field of study.
