Ardent Appoints Clint Adams Chief Financial Officer
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Clint B. Adams, 42, has been named chief financial officer for Ardent Health Services. He was previously the company's chief accounting officer.
Adams brings nearly 20 years of accounting and health care experience to the CFO role. He came to Ardent in 2003 as an assistant vice president in Financial Reporting. He was quickly promoted to vice president and controller, and then became chief accounting officer in 2006.
"Clint has proven himself to be a valuable asset to our company," said David T. Vandewater, president and CEO of Ardent Health Services. "He has built a solid accounting infrastructure and team. He is extremely experienced in the financial operations of our health plan and hospitals, and he has been an integral part of our recent successful refinancing."
Previous to Ardent, Adams was an audit senior manager for Ernst & Young at which he managed large and medium-sized audit engagements of multiple SEC health care and technology companies. He was also the controller for PathGroup Inc. and an audit manager and staff accountant for Deloitte.
Adams is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in accounting from Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
