ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC Announces Agreement to Acquire the FUKA and SIRGES pipelines and the St. Fergus Gas Terminal From Total E&P UK, a wholly owned affiliate of Total SA

BOSTON, Mass., Aug. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC ("ArcLight"), alongside management of North Sea Midstream Partners ("NSMP") have entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire the FUKA and SIRGES pipelines and St. Fergus Gas Terminal (the "Portfolio") from Total E&P UK ("Total"). The Portfolio transports and processes natural gas from fields owned and operated by Total and other supermajor and national oil company producers. FUKA and St. Fergus have a capacity of 1.27 Bcf/day serving the Northern North Sea. SIRGES will have a capacity of 665 mmscf/day upon entering operations, expected by the end of 2015, and transport natural gas from fields in the West of Shetlands to a tie-in at FUKA. NSMP will assume management of the Portfolio from Total and engage the px Group to provide certain operations and maintenance services.

The agreement to acquire the Portfolio is in line with strategy of acquiring and consolidating North Sea midstream assets established by ArcLight and NSMP since NSMP's formation in 2012. In addition to the Portfolio, NSMP will continue to own and operate the Teesside Gas Processing Plant ("TGPP") located in Teesside, England. TGPP is a highly efficient natural gas processing plant with a capacity of approximately 675 mmscf/day serving customers delivering gas via the CATS pipeline system from the Central North Sea and the Breagh pipeline from the Southern North Sea.
