ArchitecturalRecord.com Wins Two Gold Tabbie Awards
McGraw-Hill Construction website takes top honors in all online categories of global B2B publishing awards
NEW YORK, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- McGraw-Hill Construction's ArchitecturalRecord.com has received two gold Tabbie Awards from Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI) for "Best B2B Website" and "Best Online Feature." The highest online honors in the B2B publishing space, these awards seek to identify the best editorial and design work found in English-language B2B publications worldwide.
"To win a gold Tabbie Award is to truly be considered the best in the English-speaking world," said Bryant Rousseau, Editorial Director, Digital Media, McGraw-Hill Construction. "To sweep the gold medals in the online B2B categories is a testament to what our outstanding design and editorial team has been able to accomplish. We are honored to receive these awards."
Tabbie judges recognized ArchitecturalRecord.com's "great open layout — a good balance with graphic and print," citing this as a chief reason for bestowing its gold award to the B2B website. "The My San Francisco Video Tour: The California Academy of Sciences" article by Bryant Rousseau, William Hanley, and Jenna McKnight received the gold award in the "Online Feature" category. Judges commented that it "was an excellent full treatment of a subject on multiple media platforms." Designer Susannah Shepherd was also recognized for her valuable contributions to both the website and article design.
ArchitecturalRecord.com received the "Best B2B Website" bronze Tabbie award in 2009 as well.
The seventh annual 2010 Tabbie Awards received nearly 500 entries, with nominations coming from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., India, New Zealand and South Africa. For a full list of the 2010 prize winners, visit http://www.tabpi.org/awards.htm.
