Architectural Testing, Inc. Awards 2014 Scholarship

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., June 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Testing and certification company, Architectural Testing, Inc., has awarded the Henry and Carole Taylor Family Scholarship to Abbey Jean, an upcoming freshman at the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, as part of its participation in the American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Scholarship Partner Program. All awards were announced during the 2014 AAMA National Summer Conference held June 1-4 in Indianapolis, IN.

Abbey seeks a career in Mathematics from WIT, which boasts a challenging, hands-on Applied Mathematics program, according to Abbey. In high school, Abbey held officer and leadership positions within many extracurricular activities.

Abbey's mother, Lisa D. Jean, is employed by Architectural Testing, Inc. in York, PA.

AAMA is a trade association representing both residential and commercial window, door and skylight manufacturers. For the 12^th year, the AAMA Scholarship Program has offered families of employees of AAMA member companies the opportunity to obtain financial aid for higher education in pursuit of a degree in an engineering or technical field relating to the building products industry. In addition to AAMA's national awards, AAMA member companies, such as Architectural Testing, Inc., have the opportunity to participate in the Scholarship Partner Program in conjunction with the AAMA Scholarship Program to provide a scholarship opportunity for children of their own employees.
