ArcBest Carrier ABF Freight® Earns ATA Excellence in Security Award

FORT SMITH, Ark., Nov. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ArcBest^SM (Nasdaq: ARCB) today announced its less-than-truckload carrier ABF Freight^® has been recognized by the American Trucking Associations for exceptional security practices and has earned the 2016 Excellence in Security Award for a record eighth time.

ABF Freight received the award during the ATA Safety Management Council and Transportation Security Council's Safety, Security and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition on October 26 in Oklahoma City. ABF Freight has earned the Excellence in Security Award in 2001, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2015 and 2016.
