DENVER, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, has signed a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with a major international energy client to perform environmental consulting for upstream oil and gas operations in the U.S., Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. ARCADIS is one of only two preferred providers chosen for this contract, which will span a minimum of two years.

As part of this MSA, ARCADIS may be called upon to perform a full complement of environmental consulting services for the client's upstream operations, including: air quality consulting and permitting; regulatory compliance and consulting; engineering and surveying; naturally occurring radioactive material consulting; brine spill response and remediation; spill prevention control and countermeasure planning; remediation and reclamation; and safety consulting. ARCADIS will also oversee engineering certifications, advocacy, greenhouse gas emissions calculation, and a site characterization study in the southern U.S.
