ARCADIS Moves Headquarters to Amsterdam

ARNHEM, The Netherlands, March 4, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARCADIS (NYSE EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, will move its international headquarters to Amsterdam. An agreement was reached with Philips Pensioenfonds for the lease of two floors in the Symphony office tower at the Zuidas in Amsterdam, a high quality office location, close to Schiphol Airport. The new offices offer room for about 40 corporate staff, including the Executive Board. The office move is planned for September 2010.

The management of ARCADIS Nederland, currently located in Amersfoort, plans to move to Arnhem and together with its support staff will occupy the vacated space in the Rijntoren, near the central station in Arnhem. This offers the opportunity to consolidate a number of smaller offices with larger offices in the Netherlands, allowing for an efficiency improvement. The staffing of the Amersfoort office will be kept at current levels.
