ARCADIS Executives to Speak at National Ground Water Summit
DENVER, April 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, announced today eight of its industry experts will play a significant role in this year's National Ground Water Association (NGWA) Summit on "Groundwater for a Thirsty World," April 11-15, in Denver.

ARCADIS professionals will be featured in eight presentations, including three focusing on mine sites. Topics will cover a range of groundwater issues, including advanced groundwater modeling, methods for quantifying groundwater surface water interactions and remediation considerations, characterizing background and mine-sourced metals loads to streams, 3-D visualization techniques to support remediation strategies, and specialized approaches to plume characterization. In addition, Craig Divine and Dave Lipson, Principal Hydrogeologist, will chair a full-day special session focusing on the importance groundwater–surface water interactions in groundwater remediation and environmental hydrology.
The NGWA Summit brings together regulators, practitioners, natural resource managers, policymakers, municipal planners, banking industry representatives, remediation site owners, attorneys, climatologists and others who supply knowledge and technology needed to address key water issues. The event integrates cutting-edge research with practical application innovations to create new industry solutions, and will include various workshops, field trips, topical and poster sessions and networking opportunities.
