DENVER, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, has hired Peter F. McNulty, P.E., as Vice President within the U.S. Infrastructure Division. He will be based in our Braintree, Massachusetts, office.

McNulty joins ARCADIS with more than 30 years of engineering and construction experience in the areas of surface transportation; highways and roadways; rail and transit; air transportation and facilities; and air, water and environment in both the public and private sectors. In his new role with ARCADIS, McNulty will work with our public clients to develop and manage major heavy infrastructure projects using traditional and alternative delivery methods such as design-build and public private partnerships.

McNulty has served in senior management positions for engineering firms, large contractors and public agencies. His experience includes serving as Project Executive for $1.3 billion in heavy civil and building construction projects, including $400 million in Design-Build work. As Director of Construction for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, he was responsible for $1.1 billion in heavy civil construction involving major transportation system upgrades. He was the Engineer of Construction for the reconstruction of the transportation facilities at the World Trade Center in New York City. Among his many affiliations, McNulty is a fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), a member of the Moles and a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). He received a bachelor of science degree from Northeastern University.
