Arcadian Health Names Prudence Kuai New Chief Information Officer
OAKLAND, Calif., April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Prudence Kuai has joined Arcadian Health as Chief Information Officer, effective immediately. A 20-plus year veteran in the health care provider, payer and service industries, Kuai will be responsible for spearheading the organization's team of IT professionals as they implement leading industry practices that support business growth.

As part of the executive team, Ms. Kuai will provide strategic technology and information leadership throughout the organization.

Prior to joining Arcadian, Ms. Kuai led the product management teams for TriZetto's administration, care management and constituent web solutions where she was accountable for ensuring interactivity and integration across the TriZetto portfolio, as well as third-party products. Ms. Kuai also served as divisional chief information officer at Wellpoint, Inc., supporting the Medicare, Medicaid, and individual medical markets as well as the dental, vision, life/disability and PBM strategic business units. She began her healthcare career with FHP International Corp., a regional HMO and PPO organization. Kuai received a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas, Arlington, and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from National Taiwan University.
