Arcadian Health Names Helene Jo as Vice President of Quality Improvement Programs

OAKLAND, Calif., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Helene Jo, RN, PNP, MPH, has joined Arcadian Health as Vice President of Quality Improvement Programs. In this important role, Helene will focus on ensuring Arcadian's Medicare Advantage health plan members have timely access to quality care while care providers have the support they need to maintain and improve members' health.

From her office at Arcadian's San Dimas, CA facility, Helene will lead a cross-functional team in a company-wide initiative to achieve excellence in quality measures such as the CMS Star Rating. "Helene has extensive experience and an impressive track record with the CMS Star Rating Program. She will be instrumental in improving Arcadian's star ratings," said Apgar.

Comprising a team from the areas of credentialing, appeals and grievances, and quality improvement, Helene's team will work on providing the organizational infrastructure, systems, and processes required to support a culture of compliance and ensure availability of good care. Helene comes to this key role after having served as the VP of Quality at Bravo Health. There, her vigorous oversight and quality improvement measures resulted in significant score improvements and NCQA accreditation for Bravo's health plans.
